SYNONYMS: Halticus (see Ellerman and Morrison-Scott, 1951).

COMMENTS: Scirtopoda is often incorrectly used for this genus, but is a junior synonym of Jaculus (see Ellerman and Morrison-Scott, 1951:536; and Corbet, 1978c:153).
