This grass-living species is widely distributed across temperate and tropical countries ( Palmer 1975; Alavi 2020). It is distinguished from other members of the genus by: antennae 6-segmented ( Figure 1 View Figures 1–6 ), tarsi 1-segmented; tergites II–VIII with discal setae; sternites III–VI with posteromarginal setae S3 placed at margin.

Material examined

Deposited in KSMA. Saudi Arabia. Al Baha, Raghadan park, 3 females from grasses, 22 September 2020 (I. Rasool) . Khairah park, one female from Poaceae , 10 September 2020 (J.H. Mirza) .
