Subgenus Fazia Shannon View in CoL View at ENA
Fazia Shannon 1927: 25 View in CoL . Type-species, bullaephora Shannon (original designation) = decemmaculata (Rondani) . Chasmia Enderlein 1938a: 213 View in CoL (preoccupied by Enderlein 1922). Type-species, hians Enderlein (original designation). Metepistrophe Hull 1949b: 293 (as subgenus of Epistrophe View in CoL ). Type-species, Epistrophe altissima Fluke View in CoL (original designation). Misidentified type-species. Originally named type was Epistrophe remigis Fluke View in CoL , but Fluke (1951) noted that the specimen used by Hull was mislabelled by him and was actually altissima Fluke. Hence View in CoL , under Article 70.3 of the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature (ICZN 1999), we hereby fixed the type species of Metepistrophe Hull to the taxonomical species, altissima Fluke. View in CoL
Metallograpta Hull 1949b: 293 (as subgenus of Epistrophe View in CoL ). Type-species, Allograpta colombia Curran View in CoL (original designation).
