1 Blades (1) 2–3.5 cm wide, variably subentire to sinuate or crenate; sori immersed in depressions, in 3–5 series between midribs and blade margins ................................................................................................................................................................. - Blades mostly 4–10 cm wide, pinnatifid to pinnatisect; sori not immersed, in a single row on each side of the costae.
2 Blades glabrous (except sometimes close to rachises); sori basal, often touching the costae, but not extending to the segment tips ............................................................................................................................................................................................ E. dudleyi
- Blades setose; sori distal on the segments, not touching the costae ............................................................................. E. mathewsii
