As described for Robustagramma altifrons except as follows.

Body length 1.3–1.6 mm. General color yellowish to dark brown. Scutum without dorsal vittae. Interfrontal flate indistinctly protuberant. Interfrontal bristles in 3 pairs. Postvertical bristles slightly smaller than inner occipital, convergent. Eye height ca. 1.6–1.9 times genal height.

Anterior postsutural dorsocentral bristles short, similar in length to middle prescutellar acrostichal bristles. Posterodorsal katepisternal bristle over half as long as distance between bristle base and wing base. Length of second costal sector ca. 0.42–0.48X length of third. Discal cell with a stump vein CuA 1, ca. 1–3 times as long as vein width. Mid tibia of male with an apicoventral and 5–6 short ventral bristles on distal third; corresponding femur with a row of 4 ventral proximal bristles.

Male terminalia: Sternite 5 with 4 pairs of short, stout bristles on borderline. Dorsomedial length of epandrium ca. 0.3X length of sternite 8. Surstylus entirely setose, subtrianglular in shape. Cercus distinctly shorter than surstylus, with three pairs of setulae.

Female terminalia: Tergite 10 with 2 small bristles, without setulae. Sternite 7 longer than sternite 6, rounded posteriorly. Sternite 8 reduced to 2 small sclerites.

Holotype (♂, DEBU) paratypes (4 ♂, DEBU): UNITED STATES: Arizona. Cochise Co., Chiracahua Mts , 7000', dung, 15–21.vii.1978, O. Kukal.

Other paratypes: UNITED STATES: Arizona. Cochise Co., Huachuca Mts , 6000', Miller Canyon , oak woodland, dung, ix.1970, A. Newton (1 ♂, DEBU) . Santa Cruz Co., Santa Rita Mts., Madera Canyon , 5500', stream, dung, ix.1972, A.Newton (1 ♂, DEBU) . Same locality as previous label, but ix.1970, oak, human dung, A. Newton (1 ♀, DEBU) .
