Diagnosis: Frontal vitta between interfrontal plates usually protuberant gradually from posterior to anterior. Lower frons usually orange to reddish yellow. Face with central ridge between antennae always conspicuously narrower than width of scape. Wing inconspicuously pigmented, with two transverse clear bands beyond intersection of R 2+3 and costa. Sternite 5 of male with 6–8 short, stout bristles on borderline between dark anterior portion and pale posteromedial portion. Spermatheca with distal portion cylindrical to rounded, larger than basal portion.
