As described for Robustagramma altifrons except as follows.
Body length 1.2–1.3 mm. General color dark brown, without vittae on scutum. Face, gena, antenna and lower frons dark brown. Frontal vitta between interfrontal plates indistinctly protuberant. Interfrontal bristles small, in 3 pairs in addition of a pair of interfrontal setulae. Postvertical bristles parallel or slightly divergent. Eye height ca. 2.2–2.5 times genal height. Aristal hairs ca. 2.5 times basal width of arista. Maximum width of palpus 0.29 times length of palpus. Preapical palpal bristles slightly longer than maximum width of palpus.
Length of second costal sector ca. 0.43–0.56X length of third. Discal cell with a very short stump vein CuA 1, shorter than two vein widths. Mid femur of male with 2 or 3 ventral proximal bristles.
Male terminalia: Dorsomedial length of epandrium ca. 0.3X length of sternite 8. Surstylus rounded apically, with a bare anterior lobe. Cercus similar in length to surstylus.
Female terminalia: Tergite 10 with two small bristles, without small setulae. Sternite 7 rounded posteriorly; sternite 10 setulose posteromedially.
Holotype (♂, DEBU) and paratype (2 ♀, DEBU): HONDURAS: Francisco Morazán. 6 km SE Zamorano , 7.vi.1994, dung trap, H. Howden.
Other paratype: MEXICO: Jalisco, 9.5 mi. SW Autlan, 4300ft., tropical subdec., human dung, 12–20.ix.1971, A. Newton (1 ♀, DEBU) .
Etymology: The specific epithet refers to the dull brown frons.
