Trophic status. Parasitoids of jumping plant-lice (Noyes 2017).

Hosts. Cacopsylla melanoneura   , C. peregrina   , C. pyri   , C. mali   , C. ulmi (Foerster) (Noyes 2017)   .

Distribution. Holarctic.

Diagnosis. Scape dark with metallic reflections. Male scape and pedicel metallic green, funicle and clava yellowish brown. Procoxae and profemur dark with metallic reflections. Metasoma of bronze blue green color with metallic reflections. The specimens match the description by Nikolskaya (1952), Erdös (1964), Trjapitzin (1989).

Comments. New record for Serbia. Prionomitus tiliaris   was reared from four species of Cacopsylla   ( C. melanoneura   , C. peregrina   , C. pruni   and C. pyrisuga   ). P. tiliaris   has been previously recorded as a parasitoid of the following jumping plant-lice, C. melanoneura   , C. peregrina   , C. pyri   , C. mali   and C. ulmi   ( Novak 1994, Noyes 2017). Ferrière (1961) noted the strong affinity of Prionomitus tiliaris   to immatures of C. peregrina   , while Herard (1986) reported P. tiliaris   on other hawthorn psyllids as well. In Italy, it was found to be an efficient parasitoid of C. pyri ( Herard 1986)   . In the present study, P. tiliaris   is recorded in association with Cacopsylla pruni   and C. pyrisuga   for the first time ( Table 2).
