Pseudothyretes perpusilla (Walker, 1856)
Anace perpusilla Walker, 1856 . List Spec. Lepid. Insects Coll. British Museum 7: 1720.
Material examined. 4 3 Ajenjua Bepo Forest Reserve; 24–30.VIII.2006 (AMU, ISEA).
Distribution. New for Ghana. This is the most widely distributed species of Pseudothyretes . It is known from several countries from the west ( Sierra Leone) to the east ( Kenya) of equatorial Africa. The records from Ghana complete the scattered distributional data regarding the western part of its range.
Remarks. The species is very easy to determine after examination of the male genitalia. Elongate, narrow and slightly widened terminally lobes of uncus are unknown in any other member of the genus ( Przybyłowicz 2009).
