Det. 4080 K | Congo belge: P.N.A., Nyarusambo (Mikeno), 2000 m, 27.vi/ 13.vii.1934, G.F. de Witte: 452 | E. Meyrick det., 1937: Brachmia leucospora Meyr. | gen. slide 232/24, O. Bidzilya ( RMCA).

Remarks. Brachmia leucospora was described based on the male holotype, whose external characters and genitalia in all details match those of Scrobipalpa subroseata ( Meyrick, 1932) . Herewith we synonymize it with the latter species.

Distribution. Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania ( Bidzilya 2021), DR Congo: North Kivu Province ( Meyrick, 1938).
