Comments. On deciduous trees in mountain forests. West-Palaearctic. New for Iran.
All Iranian specimens are dark-coloured, belonging to the form cruciatus Reuter, 1897, which was regarded as a synonym of G. fulvicollis by KERZHNER (1964: 740). Since no intermediate forms were found, the form could be a subspecies of G. fulvicollis .
