Type species Orgilonia fuscistigma Achterberg, 1987 .

Diagnosis: Occipital carina usually absent, if present limited ventrally up to middle of the eye; malar suture absent; antenna long and slender, scapus robust, and oblique apically; clypeus normal, its ventral margin convex; mesosoma 1.3–1.5 × as long as high; prepectal carina present strongly or weakly, far removed from anterior end of mesopleuron; precoxal sulcus absent; notauli complete, smooth or with some short crenulae; mesoscutum coriaceous with short setae; scutellar sulcus crenulate; metapleural flange present; tibial spurs 0.35 × and 0.5 × basitarsus; apex of tibia with cluster of pegs; propodeum convex, granulate (rugulose) and coriaceous; sclerotized part of vein 2-M of fore wing absent or nearly so; vein r-m of fore wing absent; vein cu-a of fore wing vertical and (sub)interstitial; first metasomal tergite 1.6–2.5 × its apical width, dorsal carina absent or present; second tergite coriaceous or striate, without depressions; 2 nd –4 th tergites with sharp lateral crease; ovipositor without notch or nodus; length of ovipositor sheath 0.5–1.1 × fore wing length.
