Distribution. Palaearctic except North Africa. MADEIRA: locality unknown ( China, 1938 as Deltocephalus collinus Boh. ?).
Remarks. This record is based on a single female from Wollaston’s collection examined by China (1938) who stated that this specimen superficially resembled M. collinus . Later, Lindberg (1961) identified these specimens tentatively as Mocuellus collinus Boh. This record needs further confirmation.
Habitat and food plants. Unknown.
