Distribution. Widely distributed in Palaearctic region except North Africa. MADEIRA: reported from coast to mountains in northern and southern slopes ( Lindberg, 1941; Lindberg, 1961). Remarks. The presence of this species in Madeira was further confirmed by Remane (1975). Habitat and food plants. Unknown.
