Novo Horizonte (21°03' S, 49°18' W), July 2008, on B. brizantha (25 Ƥ, 8 3), on B. decumbens (28 Ƥ, 7 3). Piracicaba (22°41' S, 47°37' W), on B. decumbens (8 Ƥ), on M. minutiflora (5 Ƥ). Campinas (22°54' S, 47°01' W), August 2008, on B. decumbens (12 Ƥ, 5 3), on P. purpureum (3 Ƥ). Onda Verde (20°32' S, 49°14' W), August 2008, on P. maximum (5 Ƥ).

Remarks: This species was previously known from Brazil, Colombia, Peru ( Guanilo et al. 2008a), Puerto Rico and Trinidad. Measurements of the specimens collected are close to those of the original description.
