Chrysis vagans Radoszkowski 1877: 11 .

Type locality: Uzbekistan: “Habitat in valle Sarafschan et in monte Karak”, [It was collected on the 13th of May 1869 in the Dzham [Jom] Canyon, and on the 6th of May 1871 on the Karak mountain].

Remarks. The lectotype (designated by Rosa et al. 2015) is deposited in the Radoszkowski collection (ISEA- PAN). C. vagans is the type species of the genus Spintharina Semenov, 1892 . Some authors (e.g. Linsenmaier, 1959, 1968, 1997) consider Spintharina as a subgenus of Chrysis Linnaeus, 1761 . It belongs to the S. vagans species-group.

Current status. Spintharina vagans ( Radoszkowski, 1877) (transferred to Spintharina Semenov by Bohart 1987: 93).
