This taxon was described from a single specimen collected in «Caroline». The holotype, a female in MHNP, is labelled «[illegible letters on a small green label]/ parvulus Caroline C. Reiche [handwritten]/Muséum Paris [handwritten]» .

The holotype (SBL ¼ 6.7 mm; ABL ¼ about 7.5 mm) belongs to the agilis group and is conspecific with specimens of L. aduncus Allen, 1972 [NEW SYNONYMY]. The relatively large size (ABL: 7.5 mm þ) and the shape of the pronotum enable identification of this species.
