Stegana (Steganina) bimai Cui & Chen View in CoL , sp. nov.
( Figs. 6E, 6F View FIGURE 6 , 29 View FIGURE 29 )
Diagnosis. This species closely resembles S. (S.) clavispinula Chen & Chen, 2009 in the shape of epandrium, surstylus, cercus (as figs. 1, 2 in Chen & Chen 2009, Fig. 29A, B View FIGURE 29 ), and aedeagal sheath in ventral view (as fig. 6 in Chen & Chen 2009, Fig. 29E View FIGURE 29 ), but can be distinguished from the latter by having the surstylus with 1 peg-like tooth near distal margin ( Fig. 29B View FIGURE 29 ); the aedeagus expanded distally in ventral view ( Fig. 29D View FIGURE 29 ), lacking serrated process in median process ( Fig. 29C, D View FIGURE 29 ); the subepandrial sclerite slightly X-shaped ( Fig. 29G View FIGURE 29 ).
Description. Male and female: First flagellomere brown. Clypeus yellow. Mesonotum brown medially, yellow laterally ( Fig. 6E View FIGURE 6 ). Scutellum brown, yellow along margin ( Fig. 6E View FIGURE 6 ). Katepisternum yellowish ( Fig. 6F View FIGURE 6 ). Halter mostly grey ( Fig. 6F View FIGURE 6 ). Fore femur with 3 thin, long setae on distal part of posteroventral surface. Abdominal tergites brown ( Fig. 6E, F View FIGURE 6 ); sternites brownish, about 2 times as wide as long in male, about 3 times as wide as long in female. Male terminalia ( Fig. 29 View FIGURE 29 ): Epandrium with ca. 15 setae on dorsal to posterior portions per side ( Fig. 29A View FIGURE 29 ). Surstylus slightly squared, with minute, serrated processes distally and several setulae near distal margin ( Fig. 29A, B View FIGURE 29 ). Cercus lacking pubescence ( Fig. 29A View FIGURE 29 ). Hypandrium expanded anteromedially ( Fig. 29C, D View FIGURE 29 ). Pregonite small, with 3 sensilla ( Fig. 29C, D View FIGURE 29 ). Aedeagus with some pubescence distoventrally ( Fig. 29C View FIGURE 29 ). Aedeagal sheath with several minute, serrated processes distally ( Fig. 29E, F View FIGURE 29 ).
