Diagnosis. This species is similar to S. (S.) silvestrella sp. nov. in the shape of male terminalia ( Figs. 38 View FIGURE 38 , 61 View FIGURE 61 ), but can be distinguished from the latter by having the small pregonite with 2 sensilla ( Fig. 38C, D View FIGURE 38 ); the aedeagus lacking serrated process ( Fig. 38C, D View FIGURE 38 ).
Description. Male and female: First flagellomere brown. Clypeus brownish yellow medially, yellow laterally. Mesonotum brown medially, yellow laterally ( Fig. 8E View FIGURE 8 ). Katepisternum yellowish ( Fig. 8F View FIGURE 8 ). Scutellum dark brown to black ( Fig. 8E View FIGURE 8 ). Halter mostly greyish ( Fig. 8F View FIGURE 8 ). Fore femur with a row of 4 thin, long setae on distal part of posteroventral surface. Abdominal tergites dark brown medially, yellow laterally ( Fig. 8E, F View FIGURE 8 ); sternites yellow, about 1.6 times as wide as long. Male terminalia ( Fig. 38 View FIGURE 38 ): Epandrium with ca. 8 setae on dorsal to posterior portions per side ( Fig. 38A View FIGURE 38 ). Surstylus slightly oval, with some setulae along distal margin and inner surface, lacking pubescence ( Fig. 38A, B View FIGURE 38 ). Cercus with sparse pubescence ( Fig. 38A View FIGURE 38 ). Hypandrium expanded anteromedially ( Fig. 38C, D View FIGURE 38 ). Aedeagus tubular, slightly expanded distally, lacking serrated processes and pubescence ( Fig. 38C, D View FIGURE 38 ). Aedeagal sheath small, lacking serrated process ( Fig. 38E, F View FIGURE 38 ). Subepandrial sclerite broadened, slightly squared ( Fig. 38G View FIGURE 38 ).
Measurements and indices. BL = 2.23 mm in holotype (2.24–2.92 in 5♂, 2.19–2.61 in 5♀ paratypes), ThL = 1.23 mm (1.08–1.43 in ♂, 1.16–1.35 in ♀), WL = 2.21 mm (2.45–2.79 in ♂, 1.91–2.41 in ♀), WW = 1.21 mm (0.93–1.31 in ♂, 0.87–1.01 in ♀), arb = 6/4 (6–7/4–5), avd = 0.82 (0.61–0.90), adf = 0.95 (0.94–1.50), flw = 1.76 (1.33–2.12), FW/HW = 0.39 (0.35–0.44), ch/o = 0.32 (0.26–0.41), prorb = 0.72 (0.58–1.49), rcorb = 0.96 (0.54– 1.04), vb = 0.82 (0.49–1.14), dcl = 0.59 (0.29–0.62), presctl = 0.71 (0.45–0.82), sctl = 1.65 (1.52–3.02), sterno = 1.45 (0.61–1.10), orbito = 1.73 (1.65–2.24), dcp = 0.24 (0.17–0.26), sctlp = 1.71 (1.39–2.00), C = 2.13 (1.63–2.01), 4c = 1.11 (1.09–1.31), 4v = 1.82 (1.77–2.18), 5x = 1.72 (1.21–1.86), ac = 8.79 (9.33–12.11), M = 0.70 (0.50–0.79), C3F = 0.71 (0.53–0.69).

Distribution. China (Yunnan).
Etymology. A combination of the Latin words " flavus " (= yellow) and "- pes " (= leg), referring to the yellow legs.
