Stegana (Steganina) hirticlavata Cui & Chen View in CoL , sp. nov.

( Figs. 9G, 9H View FIGURE 9 , 44 View FIGURE 44 )

Diagnosis. This species is similar to S. (S.) jianqinae Zhang, Tsaur, & Chen, 2014 in the shape of male terminalia (as fig. 8 in Zhang et al. 2014, Fig. 44 View FIGURE 44 ), but can be distinguished from the latter by having the first flagellomere yellow on basal 2/3, black on distal 2/3 ( Fig. 9H View FIGURE 9 ); the pregonite fused basally, with much long pubescence distally ( Fig. 44C, D View FIGURE 44 ).

Description. Male and female: Face mostly yellow, black near lower margin; facial carina absent. Clypeus yellow. Mesonotum yellow, with blurry longitudinal stripes (Fig. 9G). Katepisternum yellowish (Fig. 9H). Scutellum yellow, brown along margin in male (Fig. 9G). Halter mostly yellow (Fig. 9H). Fore femur with a row of 3 strong setae on distal part of posteroventral surface. Abdominal tergites brownish ( Fig. 9G, H View FIGURE 9 ); sternites yellow, about 2 times as wide as long. Male terminalia ( Fig. 44 View FIGURE 44 ): Epandrium with 4 setae near dorsal portion per side ( Fig. 44A View FIGURE 44 ). Surstylus with numerous setulae on outer surface and some pubescence medially ( Fig. 44A, B View FIGURE 44 ). Cercus with much pubescence ( Fig. 44A View FIGURE 44 ). Hypandrium expanded anteromedially ( Fig. 44C, D View FIGURE 44 ). Aedeagus expanded distally, with a pair of rod-like processes ( Fig. 44C, D View FIGURE 44 ). Aedeagal sheath slightly saddle-shaped ( Fig. 44E, F View FIGURE 44 ). Subepandrial sclerite slightly quadrate ( Fig. 44G View FIGURE 44 ).
