Stegana (Steganina) glaucopalpula Cui & Chen View in CoL , sp. nov.

( Figs. 9C, 9D View FIGURE 9 , 42A–C View FIGURE 42 )

Diagnosis. This species is similar to S. (S.) curvitabulata sp. nov. in the laterally curlied 8th sternite ( Figs. 35B View FIGURE 35 , 42B View FIGURE 42 ), but can be distinguished from the latter by having the palpus large, mostly yellow, slightly grey distally ( Fig. 9D View FIGURE 9 ); the epiproct lacking sensilla, with several setae ( Fig. 42A View FIGURE 42 ); the 8th sternite glabrous ( Fig. 42B View FIGURE 42 ).

Description. Female: First flagellomere black. Clypeus brownish medially, yellow laterally. Mesonotum yellow, with broad, brown longitudinal stripes medially ( Fig. 9C View FIGURE 9 ). Katepisternum mostly yellow, brownish posteriorly ( Fig. 9D View FIGURE 9 ). Scutellum brown ( Fig. 9C View FIGURE 9 ). Halter mostly grey ( Fig. 9D View FIGURE 9 ). Fore femur with a row of 4 or 5 sturdy setae on distal part of posteroventral surface. Abdominal tergites dark brown ( Fig. 9C, D View FIGURE 9 ); sternites brown, about 2 times as wide as long. Female terminalia ( Fig. 42A–C View FIGURE 42 ): Epiproct lacking pubescence ( Fig. 42A View FIGURE 42 ). Cercus and hypoproct with numerous setae and much pubescence ( Fig. 42A, C View FIGURE 42 ).
