Stegana (Steganina) latifoliacea Wang & Chen View in CoL , sp. nov.

( Figs. 10G, 10H View FIGURE 10 , 47 View FIGURE 47 )

Diagnosis. This species is similar to S. (S.) cucullata sp. nov. in the shape of male terminalia ( Figs. 34 View FIGURE 34 , 47 View FIGURE 47 ), but can be distinguished from the latter by having the mesonotum brownish yellow ( Fig. 10G View FIGURE 10 ); the pregonite blurry or absent ( Fig. 47C, D View FIGURE 47 ).

Description. Male and female: First flagellomere yellow on basal 1/3, brownish on distal 2/3. Clypeus yellow. Katepisternum yellowish ( Fig. 10H View FIGURE 10 ). Scutellum brownish to dark brown ( Fig. 10G View FIGURE 10 ). Halter mostly grey ( Fig. 10H View FIGURE 10 ). Fore femur with a row of 4 setae on distal part of posteroventral surface. Abdominal tergites dark brown medially, brownish laterally in male ( Fig. 10G, H View FIGURE 10 ), mostly dark brown in female; sternites brownish, slightly wider than long. Male terminalia ( Fig. 47 View FIGURE 47 ): Epandrium with ca. 14 setae on dorsal to posterior portions per side ( Fig. 47A View FIGURE 47 ). Surstylus with 1 peg-like tooth and several setulae near distal margin, lacking pubescence ( Fig. 47A, B View FIGURE 47 ). Cercus with much pubescence ( Fig. 47A View FIGURE 47 ). Hypandrium roundly expanded anteromedially ( Fig. 47C, D View FIGURE 47 ). Aedeagus dramatically expanded distally, with some pubescence distoventrally ( Fig. 47C, D View FIGURE 47 ). Aedeagal sheath distally dorsad curved and with several minute, serrated processes ( Fig. 47E, F View FIGURE 47 ). Subepandrial sclerite slightly vaulted ( Fig. 47G View FIGURE 47 ).
