Remarks

Liljeborgia octodentata Schellenberg, 1931 View in CoL is well distributed in the Magellanic area. It inhabits diverse substrata, such as sediments and algal covers; here, it is reported in holdfasts of M. pyrifera from the Beagle Channel. It is mentioned for the first time in the Golfo San José, its northern geographical limit.
