Revised description. Shell medium-sized, solid, moderately broad fusiform with high spire; apical angle 30– 33°. Protoconch not preserved. Teleoconch of at least 12 whorls. Early teleoconch whorls with narrow indistinctly beaded subsutural cord, weakly concave mid-portion with strongly opisthocline axial riblets, with swollen abapical ends forming suprasutural row of beads. On seventh whorl subsutural cord strengthens to form prominent, sharply delimited, subsutural collar, riblets at mid-whorl disappear replaced by fine spiral cords. Suprasutural cord narrow, partly covered by succeeding whorl. On ninth whorl subsutural collar strong, somewhat swollen in the lower half; concave mid-whorl portion narrows, cords weaken. Suprasutural cord broadens, flattened, weakly bisected by faint spiral groove. Suture narrowly impressed, linear. Last whorl ~55% of total height. Subsutural collar strong, rounded, very prominent. Subsutural ramp narrow. Shoulder high-placed, weakly angular, mid-whorl portion inflated. Base weakly angled, delimited by weak cord. Base strongly constricted, siphonal fasciole poorly developed. Strong spiral cords over base of alternating strength, strengthened perifasciolar cord; cords of alternate strength over fasciole. Aperture moderately wide, pyriform. Outer lip not thickened, with about eight coarse lirae deep within; anal sinus moderately deep, narrow, asymmetrically U-shaped, with apex mid-ramp; siphonal canal moderately long and wide, deflected to the left with shallowly notched tip. Columella excavated in upper third, weakly twisted at fasciole, smooth. Columellar and parietal callus thin, adherent, well delimited from base, forming broad rim.

Discussion. Perrona ursulae ( Hoernes & Auinger, 1891) is characterized by its very strongly delimited and roundly swollen subsutural collar that is somewhat further thickened in the abapical half giving the impression of overhanging the narrow concave subsutural ramp and the very strongly developed cords over the base of alternating strength. It differs from Perrona lydiae ( Hoernes & Auinger, 1891) in the well-defined subsutural collar and the presence of lirae inside the aperture. Perrona oliviae ( Hoernes & Auinger, 1891) is more slender fusiform and also lacks lirae. Tomellana jouannetii ( Des Moulins, 1842) , as defined by Peyrot (1931), develops a similar subsutural collar, but has a much higher base, a shorter spire and lacks comma-shaped riblets on early teleoconch whorls, placing it in the genus Tomellana rather than Perrona which has comma-shaped axial riblets on the neanic whorls.
