Metrocampa View in CoL (Figs 617–627)
Two species have been tentatively placed into this genus and both occur in southern Australia. The eggs of these two species are very similar. Both are subglobular with the anterior pole slightly truncated. They are marked on all surfaces by slightly convex, hexagonal cells with narrow to moderately broad recessed walls. Aeropyles are elevated with moderately large openings and are absent from the top wide side of the egg. Chorion is smooth but undulating in biplaga and rough in ada . In both, the chorion is rough and wrinkled in the micropylar area.
