Shape: Narrow, elongated, bluntly ovoid, anterior pole truncated, dorsoventrally flattened (Figs 762, 764 & 765).
Characteristics: Soft chorion; egg marked on all surfaces by concave, hexagonal cells with elevated, moderately broad walls (Figs 762, 764–767). Aeropyles small, unelevated, many arranged along walls of cells, openings small (Fig. 767), present on narrow lateral sides and around anterior pole. Rosette cells slightly recessed; micropylar cell walls overlain by very narrow reticulum (Fig. 763). Chorion regularly pitted (Figs 766–768).
