Euloxia Warren View in CoL (Figs 799–813)
Euloxia View in CoL is also restricted to southern Australia. This genus is represented by ten species, of which the eggs of two species are described. The eggs of these species are quite different in outward appearance but share some common features. Both eggs are pillbox shaped with somewhat rounded sides. The aeroplyes in fugitivaria Guenée View in CoL are slightly elevated and distributed in two narrow bands around the perimeter of the egg. The chorion is relatively smooth. In meandraria View in CoL aeropyles are absent and the chorion is conspicuously marked with regularly spaced, deep pits. The egg of E. meracula Turner ( McFarland 1988) View in CoL appears similar in general shape to E. fugitivaria View in CoL .
