Shape: Narrow, elongated, subelliptical, anterior pole truncated, not wider than
posterior pole, polar profile subcircular, dorsoventrally flattened (Figs 399, 400 & 402).
Characteristics: Egg marked on all surfaces with hexagonal cells (Figs 399, 400, 402, 403 & 405). Cell walls generally moderately broad, doubleridged on narrow lateral sides and anterior pole, floors flat (Figs 402–405); micropylar cell walls narrow, singleridged, shallowly reticulated (Figs 400 & 401). Aeropyles elevated, openings moderately large, domed (Figs 400. 401 & 404), present on all surfaces except middle of top of egg. Chorion smooth (Figs 402, 403 & 405).
