Shape: Very narrow, elongated, bluntly ovoid; anterior pole truncated; flattened dorsoventrally; elongated (Figs 488 & 490).
Characteristics: Chorion soft. Egg distinctly marked on all surfaces by concave polygonal cells with broad, rounded, wavy walls arranged in longitudinal rows (Figs 488 & 490–492), cell walls in micropylar area narrow (Fig. 489). Aeropyles inconspicuous, openings moderately large slightly elevated, domed (Fig. 488); present on all surfaces apart from middle of top of egg (Figs 490 & 492). Rosette cells in micropylar area recessed (Fig. 489). Chorion blistered, appearing granulated, ridged on and near anterior pole (Fig. 492).
