Shape: Narrow, elongated, bluntly ovoid, anterior pole truncated; flattened dorsoventrally; elongated (Figs 514–516, 518).
Characteristics: Chorion soft. Egg distinctly marked on all surfaces by concave, elongate, quadrate cells with moderately broad, rounded, elevated walls, arranged in longitudinal rows (Figs 514–516, 518–521), anterior cell walls narrowly reticulated (Fig. 517). Aeropyles elevated, openings moderately large (Figs 520 & 521), present only on, around anterior pole (Fig. 520). Rosette cells recessed (Fig. 517). Chorion generally smooth, but sparsely blistered (Figs 519, 520 & 522); ridged on anterior pole cells (Fig. 521).
