Shape: Narrow, elongated, bluntly ovoid, anterior pole truncated; flattened dorsoventrally; elongated (Figs 501–503, 505).
Characteristics: Chorion soft. Egg distinctly marked on all surfaces by concave quadrate cells with moderately broad, rounded walls, arranged in longitudinal rows (Figs
501–503, 505, 506). Aeropyles elevated, domed, openings moderately large (Fig. 506), present on all surfaces. Rosette cells recessed (Fig. 504). Chorion smooth, covered with meshlike reticulation (Fig. 506).
