Shape: Very narrow, elongated, bluntly ovoid, anterior pole truncated; flattened dorsoventrally; elongated (Figs 529–533).
Characteristics: Chorion soft. Egg distinctly marked on all surfaces by concave, elongate, quadrate cells with narrow, elevated walls arranged in longitudinal rows (Figs 529–531, 533, 534), cells in micropylar area with slightly more elevated, finely reticulated walls (Fig. 532). Aeropyles elevated, domed, openings very small (Figs 531 & 532), present on all surfaces, apart from top wide side (Figs 533 & 534). Rosette cells in micropylar area recessed (Fig. 532). Chorion densely blistered, granular in appearance (Figs 534 & 535).
