Shape: Narrow, elongate, sub­ellipsoid, anterior pole slightly truncated, slightly wider than posterior, polar profile sub­circular, dorso­ventrally flattened (Figs 158 & 160).

Characteristics: Egg unmarked apart from hexagonal cells with slightly concave floors, aeropyles only visible on and around anterior pole). Cell walls narrow, slightly elevated in micropylar area (Figs 158, 159 & 160). Cells surrounding micropylar area outlined only by aeropyles at cell wall junctions, aeropyles slightly elevated, openings moderately large (Fig. 161). Chorion granulated or blistered (Figs 161 & 162).
