Shape: Moderately broad, sub­elliptical, anterior pole slightly truncated, slightly wider than posterior pole, polar profile sub­circular, dorso­ventrally flattened (Fig. 220).

Characteristics: Egg marked all over by hexagonal, flat cells; cell form barely discernible on top wide side (Figs 220, 222 & 223); on anterior pole cell walls narrow, slightly elevated (Figs 220 & 221), on narrow lateral sides cells outlined by aeropyles at cell junctions only (Fig. 223). Aeropyles slightly elevated, openings small (Fig. 223), present on all surfaces apart from middle of top of egg, posterior pole (Figs 220 & 222). Chorion smooth, shallowly undulating (Fig. 224).
