Shape: Broad, bluntly elliptical, anterior pole slightly truncated, slightly wider than posterior pole, polar profile sub­circular; dorso­ventrally flattened, wedge­shaped in profile (Figs 261, 263 & 264).

Characteristics: Egg marked on all surfaces with hexagonal cells with flat floors (Figs 261, 263–265). Cell walls only defined on anterior pole, narrow, recessed (Fig. 262); cell walls moderately wide, cell form broadly rounded (Fig. 266), cell floors concave on middle of top of egg; micropylar cell walls narrow, shallowly reticulated (Fig. 262). Aeropyles, slightly elevated, openings small (Fig. 266) present on all surfaces except middle of top of egg (Fig. 265). Chorion coarsely wrinkled (Fig. 266); smoother on middle of top of egg (Figs 265 & 267).
