Shape: Broad, bluntly ovoid; anterior pole truncated; posterior pole sub­acute; flattened dorso­ventrally; wedge­shaped laterally; anterior pole slightly angled to horizontal axis (Figs 363, 365 & 366).

Characteristics: Egg marked on all surfaces by convex, hexagonal cells with narrow recessed walls (Figs 365–369). Aeropyles elevated, openings moderately large, only present around perimeter of anterior pole (Fig. 368). Primary, secondary cells of micropylar area slightly recessed (Fig. 364). Chorion smooth, undulating (Fig. 369).
