Shape: Broad, bluntly ovoid, polar profile subcircular, dorsoventrally flattened (Figs 67 & 69).
Characteristics: Egg marked all over by polygonal cells with concave floors, moderately broad, doubleridged, slightly elevated cell walls (Figs 67–70). Cell walls in micropylar area overlaid with shallow, narrow reticulation (Figs 67 & 68). Cells arranged regularly in longitudinal rows. Aeropyles elevated, domed, openings large, present on all surfaces (Figs 69 & 70). Chorion shallowly ridged and folded (Figs 70 & 71).
