Shape: Narrow, elongated, compressed dorso­ventrally, sides planar, tear shaped from top view, anterior pole sub­acute, posterior pole much larger than anterior pole (Figs 823 & 825), egg, rectangular laterally (Fig. 826).

Characteristics: Egg marked on all surfaces by flat, hexagonal cells with moderately broad, slightly elevated walls giving a netted appearance (Figs 823–826). Aeropyles conspicuous, elevated, domed, openings moderately large, densely distributed on narrow lateral sides only (Figs 826–828). Micropylar cells slightly recessed (Fig. 824). Chorion generally smooth, shallowly wrinkled (Fig. 829), undulations more pronounced on narrow lateral side near anterior pole (Figs 827 & 828).
