Known from the Oriental Region. Fopius arisanus has been successfully introduced into Madagascar, Réunion and Mauritius for biological control. The biology of this economic important species has been reviewed by ROUSSE, GOURDON & QUILICI (2005). An additional study under laboratory conditions has been carried out by ROUSSE et al. (2007) in Réunion.
