Material examined. Syntypes. Two females on slide “N5 Cuba 16”, Cuba: 16, Prov. Habana, near Campo Florida, 19.09.1969, leg. A. Borhidi.

Diagnosis. Most dorsal setae needle-like, posterior part of the dorsal shield with one pair of wide well sclerotised areas, which bear nine pairs of smooth setae, these setae as long as the other dorsal shield setae. Setae A and P absent from dorsal shield. Marginal setae as long as dorsal setae, smooth and needle-like. Dorsal and marginal shields without ornamentation.

Material examined. Syntypes. Two males and one female, on slide “ Cuba 103-106 N15”, Cuba: 103-106, Prov. Pinar del Rio, Guanahabibes, 16.01.1970, leg. A. Borhidi.

Diagnosis. Most dorsal setae needle-like, posterior part of the dorsal shield with one pair of narrow well sclerotised areas, which bear five pairs of smooth setae, these setae as long as the other dorsal shield setae. Two narrow well sclerotised areas fused into a U-shaped structure in central part of shield. Setae P and A absent from dorsal shield. Marginal setae shorter than dorsal setae, smooth and needle-like. Dorsal and marginal shields without ornamentation.

Most dorsal setae long, needle-like, posterior part of the dorsal shield with one pair of narrow well sclerotised areas, which bear nine pairs of smooth setae, these setae shorter than dorsal setae. Dorsal shield with one pair of long setae A, and setae P absent. Marginal setae shorter than dorsal setae, smooth and needle-like. Dorsal and marginal shields without ornamentation.

Most dorsal setae long, needle-like, posterior part of dorsal shield with one pair of wide well sclerotised areas, which bear six pairs of smooth setae, these setae longer than dorsal setae. Setae A and P absent from the dorsal shield. Marginal setae as long as dorsal setae, smooth and needle-like. Dorsal and marginal shields without ornamentation.

Diagnosis. Most dorsal setae long, needle-like, posterior part of dorsal shield with one pair of wide well sclerotised areas, which bear seven pairs of smooth setae, these setae longer than dorsal setae. Dorsal shield with two pairs of long setae A, setae P absent. Three pairs of needle-like setae located near marginal part of sclerotised region, these setae as long as dorsal setae. Marginal setae as long as dorsal setae, smooth and needle-like. Dorsal and marginal shields without ornamentation.

Diagnosis. Most dorsal setae long, needle-like, posterior part of dorsal shield with one pair of wide well sclerotised areas, which bear twelve pairs of smooth setae, these setae longer than dorsal setae. Dorsal shield with eight long setae A, six of them in two groups (3-3) in the marginal area, and one pair in the central area. Setae P are lacking. Marginal setae shorter than dorsal setae, smooth and needle-like. Dorsal and marginal shields without ornamentation.

Most dorsal setae short, needle-like, posterior part of dorsal shield with one pair of wide well sclerotised areas, which bear seven pairs of smooth setae, these setae longer than other dorsal setae. Dorsal shield with one pair of long setae A, setae P absent. Marginal setae shorter than dorsal setae, smooth and needle-like. Dorsal and marginal shields without ornamentation.
