Material examined. Syntypes. Three males and one female, on slide “ Cuba 206-209”, Cuba: 206-209, Prov. Camagüey, Loma Cunagua, 14.07.1970, leg. A. Borhidi; one male and one female on slide “ Cuba 206- 209N11” Cuba 206-209, Prov. Camagüey, Loma Cunagua, from rainforest, 14.07.1970, leg. A. Borhidi.
Diagnosis. Most dorsal setae long, needle-like, posterior part of dorsal shield with one pair of wide well sclerotised areas, which bear twelve pairs of smooth setae, these setae longer than other dorsal setae. Dorsal shield with eight-nine long setae A, six or seven of them in two groups (3-3 or 4) in the marginal area, and one pair of them in the central area. Four-four (or five) long setae P in two groups (4-4 or 5). Marginal setae shorter than dorsal setae, smooth and needle-like. Dorsal and marginal shields without ornamentation.
