Identification. Pothos longivaginatus is distinguished by the long petiolar sheath, almost reaching the geniculum. The leaf blade is thickly leathery, obliquely lanceolate, unequal on boths sides. The peduncle is longer than the petiole with a sessile spadix ( Alderwerelt 1920).

Distribution and ecology. Northwestern and eastern Sabah. Mixed dipterocarp forest on slopes, ridges and streambanks on clay, sandstone, and shale, 23–1525 m elev.
