Xyleborus mancus Blandford, 1898: 428 .

Distribution: From the Indian subcontinent and China through Southeast Asia to Indonesia West of Wallace’s line, Philippines, Taiwan; presumably imported to and established in Madagascar, Mauritius, Seychelles, Tanzania. [4]

Hosts: Polyphagous ( Browne 1961; Wood & Bright 1992).

Biology: The biology is described by Browne (1961) and Kalshoven (1959).

Taxonomy: Xyleborus mancus formosanus Eggers was described from Taiwan ( Eggers 1930), but clearly lies within the range of variation of the species ( Schedl 1952a).
