Distribution: China (WP), Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand. [2a]

Hosts: Polyphagous (e. g. Nobuchi 1981a; Wood & Bright 1992). No hosts recorded in Taiwan.

Biology: The associated ambrosia fungi have been studied by Kinuura (1995).
