87. Cyclorhipidion fukiensis (Eggers) View in CoL * n. comb.
Xyleborus fukiensis Eggers, 1941: 225 .
Xyleborus tenuigraphus Schedl, 1953a: 29 . n. syn.
Distribution: China (SE), India, Nepal. New to Taiwan. [3]
New records: Ilan, Fushan, light trap, 27.vi.1995 (W. T. Jou) (1); Nantou, Hui Son, 20.i.2005, 18.vi.2005, 8.i.2006, 18.ii.2006, 17.xi.2006, 10.ii.2007 (L. Y. Liu) (7); Taichung, Wu Ling, W. Mt. Peach River, 10.v.2004 (L. Y. Liu) (1).
Hosts: Recorded only from Quercus incana (Fagaceae) in India ( Schedl 1969b).
Taxonomy: In Wood and Bright (1992), X. fukiensis is listed under Xyleborus , whilst X. tenuigraphum appears under Cyclorhipidion . We have examined the lectotype of X. tenuigraphum (NMW) , a specimen of X. fukiensis compared by Schedl with the holotype (NMW), a further specimen in NMW with exactly the same data labels as the previous but identified by Schedl as X. tenuigraphus , and further specimens collected in Taiwan (LYL, RAB, TFRI). Only a single species is represented, which clearly belongs in Cyclorhipidion .
