Holotype: 1 ♂. Faz. Cachoeirinha, Jataí, Goiás—Brasil, X.1962, Exp. Dep. Zool.; [on red] Holótipo; [on red] Pyrearinus vescus holótipo, C. Costa det. 1978.

Conservation status: Good condition; abdomen glued on card under specimen and genitália glued on transparent card.
