(Asclepiadaceae) in Lingnan Sci. J. 11(1): 53. 1932. TYPE:— CHINA. Hainan: Hongmao Shan, 23 August 1929, Ip Yuk Shing 728 (i.e. Lingnan University Herbarium 18262) (holotype: NY 00318543 image!; isotype: A 00076267 image!).

Merrill (1932) cited only one gathering, Ip Yuk Shing 18262 ( NY), in the protologue of Ceropegia angustilimba Merr .. However, the collecting number on the label of the holotype specimen is 728, while the herbarium number is Lingnan University Herbarium 18262. Therefore, the collecting number is to be corrected.
