Diagnosis of female. Compared to male ( Bucsek, 2012: pl. 16: 236), the female is more dark gray ground color of forewing and has slightly broader medial dark band in forewing ( Fig 9 View FIGURES 2–11 ). The female genitalia of S. kualabohi ( Fig 25 View FIGURES 20–26 ) differ from other members of Stictane by the funnel shaped ostium; broad tubular ductus bursae with strongly sclerotized longitudinal spurs in both lateral side, as long as bursae; significantly ovoid appendix bursae with three bundles of large spines, and globular, weakly wrinkled corpus bursae dense spinulose scobination near cervix.
Description of female. Adult ( Fig 9 View FIGURES 2–11 ). Length of forewing 6 mm. Head broken for examined sample. Thorax dark brown. Ground color of forewing dark brown-gray; basal area of forewing darker than ground color; antemedian series of two dark spots distinct; broad dark brown medial band almost straight, its more widened in costal margin; a distinct discoidal dot dark brown; postdiscal series of small dark spots distinct, its merged into apical dark brown patch. Hindwing paler than forewing, with sprinkled brown apex. Female genitalia ( Fig 25 View FIGURES 20–26 ). Papillae anales weakly sclerotized. Apophyses posteriores and anteriores slender, same length. Triangular ostium weakly sclerotized. Ductus bursae tubular, weakly sclerotized, with strongly sclerotized longitudinal spurs in both lateral side, as long as bursae. Corpus bursae globular, weakly wrinkled and sclerotized, with dense spinulose scobination near cervix. Irregularly ovoid appendix bursae weakly sclerotized, with three bundles of large spines.
Distribution. Thailand, Peninsular Malaysia ( Bucsek 2012).
