Material Examined. BOLIVIA: “ BOLIVIA: La Paz, Coroico / Cerro Uchumachi, 2550 m / 16°12.71'S 67°42.82'W / 26.1.2001, R. Anderson / cloud forest litter, 2001012F”, 3ΨΨ ( CNMC).
Differential Diagnosis. Body larger (length: 2.0 mm); general coloration brown; elytra evenly but not very highly convex, strongly lowered posteriorly in lateral view; elytral intervals evenly elevate throughout; denticulation of lateral margins of elytra very fine, slightly denser on elytral base, reaching elytral apex; anteromedian prosternal excision shallow and wide; preepisternum very narrow, nearly lamellar; metaventrite without median depression; abdominal ventrite 1 with submedian longitudinal ridges.
Easily distinguishable from all Motonerus species with narrow preepisternal elevation of mesothorax lacking median concave area by evenly convex and posteriorly strongly lowered elytra in lateral view, submedian longitudinal ridges present only on abdominal ventrite 1, and elytral margins with fine denticulation nearly reaching elytral apex.
