Distribution. Brazil (Goiás, Mato Grosso do Sul, Pernambuco, Bahia, Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Paraná, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul), Peru (San Martin), Bolivia (Santa Cruz), Paraguay.

New record. ARGENTINA: Chaco: Los Chaguares, Department Primero de Mayo, 27°19′59′′S, 58°57′57′′W, 55 masl, 13.XI.2015, Riparian forest , Direct observation, 1 male, N. G. Valle leg. Species diagnosis. Scape entirely opaque and without distinct punctures; antennomere III with rounded outer apex; scutellum pubescent on margins; pronotum transversely rugose, with a few punctures interspersed; elytra opaque, about five times pronotal length, with apex bispinose; femora subfusiform ( Martins 2005a: 174, figs 276– 277; Santos-Silva & Wappes 2017: 9; Nascimento et al. 2017: 353, fig. 20).
